Webinar Agenda Template and Examples (30, 45, and 60 Minutes)

A webinar agenda does two jobs. The public version tells registrants what they will get, which helps sign-ups. The internal version, often called a run of show, tells speakers and producers exactly who does what and when. This guide gives you templates for both, plus sample agendas for 30-, 45-, and 60-minute webinars.

Panel Webinar Agenda

Run of Show Template

Use one row per segment with these columns:

  • Start time and duration
  • Segment (what happens)
  • Owner (who leads it)
  • Slides (slide numbers)
  • Cues (launch poll, share link, switch presenter, start recording)
  • Notes (backup plans, timing flexibility)

Add a “flex” segment of two or three minutes near the end that you can cut if you run late.

Public Agenda Template

On the registration page, keep it short and benefit-focused:

  • Why [topic] matters now
  • [Method or framework] in three steps
  • Examples from [type of organization]
  • Live Q&A with [speaker]

Agenda Tips

  • Plan an interaction every 8 to 10 minutes so attention does not drift. See webinar engagement ideas.
  • Protect Q&A time. It is often the most valued part of a webinar.
  • End on time, even if you have to skip a section.
  • Share the run of show with speakers at least a week before and rehearse with it.

What is a run of show?

A minute-by-minute plan for the people running the webinar, with each segment’s owner, slides, and technical cues.
