University Video Description from UT Austin: Texas Institute for Literary and Textual Studies 2011 “The Digital and the Human(ities)”

The keynote lecture by Laura Mandell (Miami University, Ohio) kicked off the first symposium of the institute on February 3rd.

The symposium theme was “Access, Authority, and Identity,” and Mandell’s lecture was titled “Forms of Attention: Distant Reading & Discipline.”
